affordable meals to your home or office on a weekly basis, is already green, when it
comes to organic food. Now the five-year San Francisco-based business is proud to
announce it has expanded with an environmentally-conscious kitchen. Currently,
DINING IN delivers to San Francisco, East Bay, Oakland, The Peninsula, Los Altos,
San Bruno, San Mateo, Foster City, San Carlos, Menlo Park, Marin and Palo Alto. Due
to demand and continued growth, a new 4,500 square foot kitchen will occupy the new
6,100 square foot business space and will now be servicing the areas of Orinda,
Lafayette, Walnut Creek and soon San Jose and Los Gatos..

DINING IN's Founder and Executive Chef, Traci Higgins commitment to quality is
priority one. She is dedicated to using fresh ingredients supporting California
produce growers, local farmers and ranchers, with organic produce as her first
choice. Presently, the green-minded business saves paper emailing their clients the
weekly menus, sending invoice via email and processing credit cards online, but
plans to take environmental consciousness to the next level. "We are going to try
to get certified green by using all recyclable plastics, containers, storage
containers and eco-friendly packaging," states Higgins. "We also plan to recycle
and compost all the waste, use low-temperature dishwashers and eco-friendly soap,"
Higgins explains. DINING IN also plans to buy all energy-efficient water heaters
and low-flow toilets, as part of the build-out plan.
DINING IN's service focus takes pride in creating organically prepared, low-calorie
food that caters to a client's dietary needs - inclusive of weight loss goals, food
allergies, low sodium, low cholesterol, and has received praise and support from
some of the best personal trainers and dieticians in the Bay Area. "I am most proud
of this kitchen. I have built a stable, profitable, eco-friendly, very personalized
service where I have a hard working and dedicated staff. I am so glad that people
stay for a long time, where they feel proud of the product and enjoy working here,"
states Higgins.

Higgins, named one of the "Top 5 Personal Chefs in the Bay Area" by San Francisco
Magazine, aside from being Founder and Executive Chef of DINING IN, is also a
speaker, health educator and advocate, culinary instructor, wife and mother.

She has worked in the test kitchens of Weight Watchers, Cooking Light Magazine and
America's Best recipes and is credited in three cookbooks. Additionally, she has

Gordon Elliott for the Food Network. She's traveled the country performing cooking
demonstrations and insightful lectures on health and wellness to doctors,
dietitians, health professionals and nurses and has been active in many Diabetes
educational forums and conferences.
